June Sarpong OBE, a prominent figure in British television with a 20-year career, began at Kiss 100 and later presented for MTV UK & Ireland before becoming widely known on Channel 4’s T4. She hosted significant events like the Make Poverty History event in 2005 and the UK leg of Live Earth in 2007 and notably presented Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday celebrations in Hyde Park.
June has interviewed notable figures, including the Prince of Wales, Bill Clinton, and George Clooney. She has actively worked with the Prince’s Trust and supported campaigns like The One and Product (RED). Recognised for her contributions to broadcasting and charity, June received an MBE in 2007 and an OBE in 2020.
As co-founder of the WIE Network, she has brought together influential speakers for women's empowerment. June, an author of three books, returned to the UK in 2015, appearing regularly on Sky News’ The Pledge. She recently launched 'The HQ Creative Inclusion Lab' with Harper Collins, focusing on amplifying voices from underrepresented communities.
